The Boys: 10 Funniest Tweets From Vought International

The world of The Boys is fictional but hilarious tweets from the Supe management company, Vought International, make everything seem quite real.

The Boys showrunner, Erik Kripke, isn't done importing Supernatural alumni. After plucking Jensen Ackles from his previous hit show, the writer/producer has now cast Jeffrey Dean Morgan for the upcoming season of the critically acclaimed Amazon Prime Series. It's news that's guaranteed to excite fans, given Morgan's level of experience and incredible performance across different shows.

Who Morgan will play remains a mystery but given that Vought International is short on numbers after the chaotic events of Season 3, a perfect guess can be made regarding which side he'll align with. On Twitter, it's been business as usual for Vought, with the company churning out hilarious tweets as usual and downplaying the fact that there's a huge mess. Among the dozens of funny tweets posted since last year, some crack ribs more.

After Stan Edgar gets ousted as CEO in Season 3, new changes are made by Homelander. One of those involves appointing The Deep as the new Head of Crime Analytics. The Deep goes on to fire several members of the department and as a result, Vought is now taking applications.

The Deep has always been depicted as one of the laziest members of The Seven and that's reflected in the detail in the form letting applicants know that it could take up to 70 days for them to get a response. The questions on the form are more amusing as they aren't competence-based. The new head wants to know if the applicants are good-looking (a rather unnecessary qualification for employees who spend hours on computers) and whether they'd be willing to risk jail time for The Seven. And in a typical case of narcissism, it's stated that the jobs are more likely to be given to those who've read the boss' memoir.

Vought International makes attempts to distance itself from all-things-Starlight after the Supe goes live on social media and exposes the company's corrupt practices. According to the tweet, the company had put a line of Starlight diapers on the market, but her disloyalty means all those products are being removed and replaced with Homelander diapers.

Describing Starlight diapers as "full of cr**" is the perfect pun in the scenario. And given the lengths to which the company goes to make itself look good to the public, it's no surprise that the new Homelander diapers are said to be 51% made in America. No other company in history has ever put a percentage detailing the level of outsourcing. By doing this, Vought suggests that it cares more about the local workforce.

Black Noir freaks out when he learns about Soldier Boy's reappearance. Events throughout Season 3 hint at him finally facing the man and getting revenge but in a surprising twist, Homelander kills him.

Describing Black Noir as "Homelander's best friend" is ironic, given what transpired between the two. He's hardly the most dependable member of The Seven either since when he was counted on to deal with the new threat that was Soldier Boy, he laughably removed his tracker and vanished off the face of the earth. But it's sweet of Vought to acknowledge one of his true skills: playing the pioneer. That's even though he presses the keys quite rarely.

After the news that basketball star Kevin Durant was looking for a new team, Vought quickly made him know that he was welcome to join The Seven. Unfortunately, Durant never considered the offer.

Durant and The Seven aren't a match since he isn't a superhero and the Supe squad isn't a basketball team. Despite that, Vought feels that having such a huge star would boost the company's popularity even father. What exactly he'd be doing in the team if he joined is a mystery. To show just how serious it is, the company even copies ESPN reporter, Adrian Wojnarowski, in the tweet.

According to Vought, it isn't true that Black Noir never made an effort to dress up for the Supie Awards. He was wearing a very beautiful necklace underneath his costume.

Black Noir is the only member of The Seven whose identity remains a mystery to the public, and he likes it to keep it that way. That means he doesn't get to wear something different and special for major occasions, And if he's going to do so, the new costume or accessory will have to go under his superhero costume.

Queen Maeve starred in a fictional murder mystery called Maeve Of Easttown. Vought praises her performance while acknowledging the fact that the killer was never revealed.

It's a straight-up parody of one of the best-limited series of all time, HBO's Mare Of Easttown, and a bad one for that matter. That's because Vought acknowledges that the best thing about the series was not the murder itself, but scenes of Maeve eating hoagies, sipping Rolling Rocks, and shouting "beer me that jawn!" Still, Vought can always be counted on to make the public believe that its productions are the best thing in the world.

Things don't go as planned when Homelander introduces his son, Ryan to the public. But even though he lasers a protestor who throws trash at Ryan, Homelander gets something to smile about when his supporters cheer him for the act.

Privacy isn't something that Vought International usually places much focus on. For the company, good press bordering on propaganda means everything. As a Super, Homelander doesn't like to keep to himself either, which makes the plea for privacy even more ironic. Moreover, he is the one that killed someone, not the other way around hence the victim's family is more deserving of privacy.

The Deep's appointment as the Head of Crime Analytics isn't received well by those working in the department. Despite that, Vought has found it fit to declare him, "Employee of the Month."

Apart from firing a couple of people, there's nothing else The Deep does in his new role, hence he's undeserving of the accolade. He's also one of the least intelligent characters in The Boys, hence the warning that the Supe is coming for all criminals seems like an empty one. Judging him from his track record as a hero, there is nothing special he will do as the new boss. Instead, the department might just have its worst spell ever.

Vought is quick to deny allegations made by Starlight after she goes live and exposes everything. In a tweet, the company lies that she has ties with the 'criminal,' Kimiko, and is involved in the human trafficking business.

Starlight is one of the most likable characters of The Boys because her moral compass is greater than that of those who surround her. The tweet thus highlights Vought's desperation and love for propaganda. However, it isn't such an unwise move for the company since there is a need to save face. Since the majority of the public believes that members of The Seven are true heroes, Vought is forced to do everything it can to keep things that way.

Yet another Vought tweet involves Starlight, who is congratulated for hitting 193 million followers on Instagram. And the company loves the fact that she's above Seth Rogen.

It's a way of the show poking fun at itself since Seth Rogen is one of the executive producers. Starlight's 193 million followers are also way more than Rogen's 9 million, hence the comparison makes little sense. The tweet also mentions how America looks forward to Starlight's live streams, something that acts as a moment of foreshadowing. Later on, Starlight goes on to explore the company via a live stream.
