Report of the West Java Tribune Journalist, Lutfi Ahmad MauludinTRIBUNJABAR.ID, BANDUNG - A resident of Babakan Asta Village, RT 2, RW 11, Rancaekek Wetan Village, Rancaekek District, Bandung Regency, Fandi Mulyana (38), was once shunned by people and called crazy for messing around piles of garbage.Not only was he called crazy, because of Fandi's garbage, he was also imprisoned by garbage dumpers.However, now Fandi can create works of high artistic value, even from waste paper or diapers which are very difficult to decompose and are dirty because they are traces of dirt.In his hands a variety of garbage, ranging from broken glass, wood, cloth, paper press, can be transformed into various very interesting items.When Fandi rummaged through the trash, it was his strategy to deal with the problem of garbage, which often piles up on Jalan Walini, in his village.Fandi admitted that he was annoyed with the amount of garbage on Jalan Walini in 2018. He had reported it to the local government, but received an unsatisfactory answer, and no action was taken.As a result of being annoyed with the pile of garbage, which was piling up, he took real action, although many called him crazy.The pile of garbage by Fandi, was spread out in the middle of the road, so that it was run over by passing vehicles."Intentionally, the garbage at that time was scattered on the road, spread out onto the road, so that the vehicle would run over. I did that to dry it out," said Fandi, when met at his home, Tuesday (24/5/2022).
