It's almost time for one of most exciting holidays of the year: Prime Day! In the past, we've seen epic markdowns on everything from cribs to home goods, and this year is no exception. Here's everything we know so far.

Prime Day 2022 will be July 12-13. The flagship sale will include huge deals on gear from national brands and small businesses alike, with Amazon offering "some of our best Prime Day deals yet to even more customers around the world,” said Jamil Ghani, vice president of Amazon Prime, in the retailer's recent press release.

If you haven’t shopped during Prime Day in the past, here’s what this sale means for you: Whether you're in the market for baby gear like diapers or bottles, pregnancy products such as maternity jeans or body pillows or everyday home essentials, there's a good chance that something on your list will go on sale.

Just remember that Prime Day is an exclusive event for Amazon Prime members, so you’ll want to sign up for a Prime membership if you don't have one already. Prime membership is about 53 percent off ($6.99 per month) for qualifying government assistance recipients.

Fortunately, you don't have to wait until July for the discounts to begin. Amazon shared that early, member-only Lead Up deals started on June 21. Below, we've rounded up some of the best discounts you can shop now, plus other sales that you can look forward to in the coming weeks. Keep checking in, as we'll consistently update this page as we find more deals leading up to the big day.

While these deals aren't officially part of the lead up to Prime Day, they still offer great discounts on the gear your family needs.

These Amazon deals haven't started quite yet, but will be here before you know it! Check out some of the best discounts to look forward to once Prime Day starts:
