Regarding the editorial “Goldschmidt and Arenado embrace quackery in decision not to get vaccinated” (July 26): I suggest the Cardinals announce new bobbleheads to honor Nolan Arenado and Paul Goldschmidt refusal to be vaccinated, and therefore abandon their teammates on a road trip to Canada. These bobbleheads would depict these players wearing diapers and sticking out their tongues like toddlers.

These two great athletes’ acts of selfishness forever lost the respect of many Cardinals fans and should be remembered as a terrible example to children, who receive numerous inoculations just to enter first grade, not to make millions playing baseball.

Arenado is so wrong in stating that “it’s just a personal choice.” He and Goldschmidt can transmit this dangerous disease to teammates and others, causing serious disease and loss of income as well as their own playing time. These two vaccine holdouts should put on their big boy pants and play ball.

If that was the case, it would be boldly stated in the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution.

Hawley stunts include being the first senator to object to the certification of the 2020 Electoral College results and fist pumping rioters.

I believe if this were an ordinary citizen doing this, the Securities and Exchange Commission would be all over that person.

I personally believe in the vaccine, and have been double-vaccinated, as well as double-boosted, but I still respect the views of those choosing otherwise.

Women are living human beings, but zygotes and embryos are not. We do not hold funerals for them, but we do hold funerals for their mothers.

As a Maine resident who has been to Missouri, spent time there and who has friends there, I know for a fact that there are many fine, upstanding Missourians.

He was heading out the back door. Where were his staff members? Did he even care?

I really feel sorry for all those downtown residents who are paying premium prices for rent and must be extremely prudent when walking.

A minister telling people not to pray? I certainly would never attend his church.
