A Japanese pediatricians' group has created a website in Ukrainian to provide advice and moral support for struggling parents in the beleaguered country.

The site offers information on such things as how to cope with the care of young children while in a shelter. The information has been made available to help families who have taken refuge in basements and other underground shelters or tried to evacuate to safer areas.

The website also describes techniques for such things as protecting infants from the cold and using towels in place of diapers. It also provides tips for parents struggling with their own fatigue and anxiety.

Doctor Oki Shigeru of the group says that they set up the website as a stopgap for parents and their children, whom he and his colleagues hope will soon regain a life in which they can sleep in peace and enjoy playing.

You can access the information in Ukrainian and in English, respectively, on the following websites: https://jnanet.gr.jp/document/pdf/qafamily_u.pdf https://jnanet.gr.jp/document/pdf/qafamily_e.pdf
