Hundreds of boxes filled the Christ Fellowship Church Warehouse in West Palm Beach Monday morning.

"Going to help refugees, women who have had to flee Ukraine with their kids. So, we just wanted to bring some hope and some light to them in their situation," Becky Kyle, the director of missions at Christ Fellowship Church, told WPBF 25 News.

Officials set up an Amazon wish list a few days ago, and have gathered more than 1,300 boxes of diapers online. They've also received about 1,000 boxes of diapers on-site at the church.

"We anticipate that there’s about 100,000 diapers that have come in over the last few days," Kyle said.

Volunteers have also been working around the clock to ship them out as quickly as possible.

"It’s a Monday and while a lot of people have to go to work, I have the opportunity to come here and serve with people from my church and from my community," Spencer Shellard, a volunteer at Christ Fellowship Church, told WPBF 25 News. "Brought our church together as one, it’s united our faith here in South Florida and it’s united their faith there over there in Ukraine. And so to be a part of that is, it’s an honor, it’s a privilege and it’s a blessing."

Officials said "Convoy of Hope" will be shipping the container with these diapers, and expect it to take a couple of weeks before making it to Poland.

While this is a one-time drive, Kyle said they are always ready to help out in the future.

"To see the collective community come together and fill a whole container and just want to be able to help? It’s just been so inspiring to see," Kyle said.
