NOT as usual, on the side of Jalan Walini, Rancaekek, Bandung Regency, Sunday (5/6/2022) lined with various works of art, ranging from paintings, flower pots, frames, aquariums, tables, to bonsai replicas.Not many know, this is not an ordinary work of art.They are all made from old diapers.Not a few motorists slowed down, and set their sights on the artwork on display on the side of the road.There are also those who deliberately pulled over to their vehicles, then got down to take a closer look.All the artworks were made by Pandi Mulyana (38).Pandi Mulyana said that he deliberately exhibited his work made of waste to coincide with World Environment Day."My biggest hope is that this exhibition can inspire everyone, especially those who pass through Jalan Walini," said the resident of Bojongsoang on the sidelines of the exhibition.In addition to the exhibition, at the same location, an environmental themed theater performance was also held by the children of Kasunda Rancaekek.Not only that, Pandi also practiced making flower pots from used diaper materials that are difficult to decompose and immediately put into practice making painting displays from plastic waste.Read also: Singapore revives its tourism, invites Indonesians to visit through art"So actually we can turn the garbage in the environment into a work, we can make something useful," said Pandi.Pandi Mulyana said there were 100 works that he displayed at this exhibition on Jalan Walini."The theme of the exhibition is Rancaekek Imagination," said Pandi.Also read: Kala.
