A side from our guide to the perfect weekend on O‘ahu, we got the scoop on some noteworthy events and happenings that we thought we should share.

To kick off National Diaper Need Awareness Week, Aloha Diaper Bank is hosting a diaper drive at Kokua Korner Mart. Any size diapers are appreciated, but sizes 4-6 are most needed. Those who donate can also expect a free gift (while supplies last). If you can’t make the event, you can always make a monetary donation or drop off unused diapers at one of the drop off sites: the ground floor of Windward Mall next to Ross, Starbucks at Kamehameha Shopping Center, Hawai‘i Chiropractic Clinic in Aiea or Hawai‘i Skin Labs.

Saturday, Sept. 24, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Kokua Korner Mart, 175 Kahelu Ave., Mililani, alohadiaperbank.org, @alohadiaperbank
