Loving Our Community’s Children (LOCC) is kicking off its annual ONLINE AUCTION to raise funds for children in need!  This is a great opportunity to bid on some great items which have been graciously donated by the community.

LOCC is currently an all-volunteer run non-profit organization in Ascension Parish dedicated to helping any child who has experienced a traumatic event.  Children served include those in foster care, at risk of being taken into foster care and those who have suffered other traumatic experiences such as flood, fire, loss of financially supporting parent, etc.  LOCC also serves any child who is referred by a mandated reporter.  

Jeff Soper, LOCC President, explained “LOCC relies on members of the community to operate.  The proceeds of this auction will allow us to purchase much needed inventory not routinely obtained through donations such as cribs, toddler beds, baby monitors, diapers, pajamas, underwear, socks, and other essential items.”
