Parents in need of emergency diapers when visiting public parks in Japan will have access to them from vending machines, according to a report in The Mainichi.

The city of Koga approved the installation of diaper vending machines in two Fukuoka Prefectue parks, Koga Green Park and Kazurugahama Park.

Dydo Drinco Inc., an Osaka beverage manufacturer, set up the machines in August, having placed similar machines at commercial facilities.

The machines offer diapers in packs of two in medium and large sizes and 70-sheet baby wipe packs, each for 240 yen (about $1.70).

The machines also offer beverages.
