Clergy Council Urges Ukraine Donations - MyVeronaNJ

The Verona Clergy Council (B’nai Shalom, Calvary Lutheran, First Presbyterian, Holy Spirit Episcopal, Islamic Center of Verona and Our Lady of the Lake) is hosting an Interfaith Unity Prayer Service for Peace this Sunday, March 27, at 5 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 36 Gould Street. Attendees are encouraged to bring the following items: unexpired medicines (such as Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Neosporin, aspirin), triage supplies, baby formula, diapers, and feminine products, which will be delivered to the Ukrainian Orthodox Holy Ascension Cathedral in Clifton. In addition, people can purchase the following items via Amazon which will be delivered to the Ukrainian Church in Clifton that is sending bulk shipments to Ukraine.

Before and after the gathering, attendees may view the artwork of Elina Rosenblum, a Verona resident. A portion of the proceeds of art sales / commissions, as well as any monetary donations, will go to the local nonprofit “Hope for Ukraine” that supports Ukrainian refugees by providing necessities to people in various regions of Ukraine.
